Acquistato il secondo libro di Ross MacDonald edito da Hobby & Work, serie Crimen.
Si intitola "Il vortice" (titolo originale "The Drowning Pool").
Ti segnalo che dal romanzo e' stato tratto un film omonimo, girato nel 1975 da Stuart Rosemberg, con Paul Newman nella parte di Lew Harper.
Vuoi la motivazione perche' Harper e non Archer? Questo e' quello che ho trovato:
As legend has it, Newman had such success with his 1963 film "Hud" that he thought there was some kind of magic in having a single-word title that began with the letter "H."
