"Niko's Abruzzi
Niko Romito, chef of the Reale Restaurant of Rivisondoli (L'Aquila), was named best young chef of the year 2006 by Guida Espresso 2006. In his restaurant in the Abruzzi mountains (Rivisondoli is 1360 meters above sea level), he creates dishes with region's finest "raw materials", revisiting traditional recipes while retaining their excellence and authenticity. On this occasion Niko will be showing off his skills in the beautiful restaurant of Castello di Santa Vittoria, on top of a hill overlooking the Langhe district. The menu will be accompained by the wines of Borgo Magredo and Torre Rosazza of Genagricola, an agro-industrial holing company in the Generali Insurance group".
